The Premier League race is back on. Chelsea fell 2-0 at Manchester United on Sunday, and the Blues' lead atop the standings now is just four points. Just weeks ago Chelsea had a 10-point advantage, but this result combined with the loss to Crystal Palace has moved the Londoners from a near-lock to win the title to now in an uncomfortable position.
It was Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera who scored for an inspired United, who thoroughly outplayed the visitors from start to finish, even with Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the bench.
Rashford scored just seven minutes in on a lovely run and finish in what proved to be the winning goal:
Herrera then made it 2-0 early in the second half on a fortunate effort:
This result means Chelsea could be in a bit of trouble. The Blues lost just for the fifth time all season and must avoid another slip up.
As for United, they move into fifth, four back of City for the final Champions League spot with one less match played.
